GIK (Goods in Kinds) Distribution

Completion of the first phase assessment of need for intervention in randomly selected 195 government health facilities was completed in eight districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 179 government health facilities in four districts of Baluchistan.

Medical GIK donations distributed in FATA, Swat, and Peshawar worth Rs.300 Million in 2010 and later GIK worth Rs 270 million was distributed in 20 districts of KP, making direct deliveries to 69 government health facilities/ hospitals. Donated GIK was also distributed in 3 districts of Baluchistan, making direct deliveries worth Rs. 95 million to 27 government health facilities/hospitals so far. Rs. 48 million worth of GIK was also distributed to hospital catering free medical services to por in other parts of the country making it total distributions of Rs. 1.163 billion.
