Poverty Eradication Initiative (PEI), a nonprofit organization, donated Medical Supplies to Khyber Teaching Hospital in Peshawar.
The ceremony was started at 11am on 11th January, 2013. The Medical Supplies including Medical, Surgical support and consumables were handed over on to Khyber Teaching Hospital’s Management by the Program Implementation Expert, Tayyab Hussain on behalf of Executive Director, PEI Mr. Shahid Yusaf at the ceremony arranged by the hospital administration.
PEI has already signed a Collaborative Grant Agreements with the Governments of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in health and social welfare sector to distribute medical goods in kind donations worth four billion rupees in the next 4 years to provide relief and assistance to improve medical service standards in the government health facilities for the benefit of poor patients.
The Initiative was taken and organized by PEI’s Executive Director and Pakistan’s Honorary Investment Counselor at Vancouver (Canada) Mr. Shahid Yusaf.
