In targeted districts of KP, Sindh, and
Baluchistan, PEI established Health Management Committees (HMC) to lead its health program
objectives. These committees play a crucial role in driving initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery and
promote public health awareness. HMC members undergo comprehensive institutional training to
strengthen their capacity in managing healthcare resources and addressing community health needs
effectively. Through targeted sensitization programs, HMC members are educated on PEI interventions
focusing on health and hygiene issues, tuberculosis (TB) control, family planning (FP), and maternal,
newborn, and child health (MNCH) services. Skill development initiatives and training sessions expand
institutional capacities, particularly in areas such as Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) coverage,
improvement of referral systems, and raising awareness on prevalent community diseases like TB and
malaria. A feedback mechanism is also established for conflict resolution related to FP and MNCH
services, facilitating efficient service delivery and enhancing healthcare outcomes
